Genre: Drama
Plot: Bobby Garfield (adult - David Morse, young - Anton Yelchin) goes to the funeral of a childhood friend and there he find out that another of his childhood friends har passed away. So he starts to remember the summer when he turned eleven. The time when he met Ted Brautigan (Anthony Hopkins), a strange and psychic gifted loner, who moves in upstairs from him and his mother in Connecticut in the 60's. Ted becomes kind of a fatherfigure and mentor for Bobby. Ted ask Bobby to keep his eyes open for "low" men, wich are after Ted for some reason.
Anton Yelchin plays the part of Bobby excellent, you can really see what the boy is feeling.
But it's boring at some points, a bit slow.
Summary: Good movie, a bit slow at some places, good child actors.
See it with: Friends, (older) Family, Alone
